This Privacy Policy describes how Morin Artworks (“Morin Artworks,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this website and the sale of original paintings and prints by Jordan Morin. It applies to visitors and customers of this site.

When you place an order, contact us about a commission, or otherwise reach out to Morin Artworks, you may provide information such as your name, email address, shipping address, and order details. This information is provided directly by you, typically through Shopify’s checkout process described below.

This site uses one functional cookie to remember your shopping cart between visits, so items you add don’t disappear if you navigate away or refresh the page. This cookie stores only a cart identifier — it does not contain your personal or payment information. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies on this site.

Orders for Original paintings and Prints are processed through Shopify’s cart and checkout system. Order details — such as the items purchased, price, and shipping information — are retained as part of the ordinary course of fulfilling and recordkeeping for your purchase.

This website’s cart and checkout are powered by Shopify. When you check out, you leave this website and complete your purchase on a Shopify-hosted checkout page, which is subject to Shopify’s own privacy practices. Shopify acts as our ecommerce service provider and processes order information on our behalf.

Morin Artworks does not collect or store your payment card information. Payment is handled entirely by Shopify and its payment processing partners as part of the hosted checkout experience.

Fine art prints are produced and fulfilled through a third-party print production partner, Printify. To fulfill a print order, the relevant order and shipping details are shared with Printify. Original paintings are one-of-one physical works and are fulfilled directly by Morin Artworks rather than through a print-on-demand partner.

The shipping address and related delivery information you provide at checkout are used to fulfill and ship your order, and are shared with the applicable fulfillment partner (Shopify, Printify, or a shipping carrier) only as needed to complete delivery.

Beyond the single functional cart cookie described above, this site does not currently set marketing, advertising, or analytics cookies. If that changes in the future, this Policy will be updated to describe it.

We use the information described above to process and fulfill orders, communicate with you about your order or inquiry, operate and maintain this website, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate this website and fulfill orders — currently Shopify (ecommerce, payments, and checkout) and Printify (print production and fulfillment). We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

We rely on the security measures built into Shopify’s platform for cart, checkout, and payment processing. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or through this site.

We retain order and transaction information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, comply with legal and tax obligations, and maintain accurate business records.

You may contact us using the information below with questions about your information or to request that we address a specific concern. Because order records are also held by Shopify as our ecommerce provider, some requests may need to be coordinated through Shopify as well.
